online questionnaire (surveymonkey.com, google.com, SPSS)

as usual, every week we were assigned to do new assignment. for this week, we were needed to make a  survey  based on the journal that we've done in the previous assignment which entitled 'Windows vs. Ubuntu'.
based on that journal, we were required to make 10 survey questions by using surveymonkey https://www.surveymonkey.com/MyAccount_Join.aspx
to be answered by our own classmates. and then make another survey by using google doc in spreadsheet form either from the same questions used in the  surveymonkey or different questions. the survey made by using google doc can be printed. instead of making 10 copies of printed survey and distribute it to other students as stated in the question task, we chose to send it to our friends in IPGKS

credits to survey monkey, i experienced the first time of making survey on my own.

After all the hard works we finally reached at the final step when we managed to get at least 20 respondents for the survey. Alhamdulillah !
well i have to admit that to get even at least 10 respondents is such a hard works. we have to remind them, over and over again to answer our survey question.
we make use our Facebook account to 'promote' our survey and we did emailed them about the survey.
we were almost give up waiting for the responds. everybody seems to be so busy creating theirs and what is so 'weird' or confusing i might said is when all of my friends said they had done answering our survey when only 15 of respondents are 'visible'. there should be 18 respondents altogether. so where is another 3 respondents ?!
maybe there is some technical mistakes or miscommunication here and there. they maybe thought that they have answered our survey when they actually answered from the survey monkey.
the one that matter is from the google doc. the data collected from google doc is the one that will be used in the SPSS thingy. so there's some confusion and both of us do really understand that.

me and my partner; wan nazira are both agreed that, this one assignment which is the survey to be specific is the most exciting part of this course ! to be honest, this is my first time experience of making my own assignment.
knowing that there is a website where we can actually make our own survey question, i wish i could make my own mini research one day. =))

after gathering all the data, we're now in the final step.
this is where we start to use SPSS that we have installed before.
Mr Tengku Norazlan briefly explained to us how to use it. it is quite interesting actually.
so after filling in the data in the SPSS, we were needed to make report based on our mini research.
as a conclusion, i gained a lot of new experience this time with the surveymonkey.com, google.doc spreadsheet and SPSS. i am not an IT savvy but after completing this course, i wish i managed to apply all the knowledge i have gained during completing this course in the future.

till then, buhbye
